Michael Mastrostefano, PT OCS MTC has been practicing physical therapy since 1987, during which time he has successfully improved the functional status of people with both temporary and permanent disabilities. He has expertise in a variety of settings, including hospital-based rehabilitation, outpatient sports medicine centers, aquatic centers and home care environments.

Michael’s participation in continuing education is displayed by his professional accomplishments. He has been awarded the title of Orthopedic Certified Specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. He is also a Certified Manual Therapist of the Institute of Graduate Physical Therapy. With these credentials, he is exceptionally qualified to care for patients with dysfunction of the spine.

Michael has further demonstrated his commitment to education through clinical mentoring of physical therapy students, tutoring responsibilities at Marymount University and his sponsorship of physical therapy seminars for the Virginia Physical Therapy Association. He also participates in local orthopedic studygroups as both a speaker and a participant.
