Skylar earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 2022 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Carlow University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 2026. During her clinical education, she gained extensive experience in outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine, including a clinical rotation at a Sports Center of Excellence, where she worked with athletes and active individuals across a variety of sports and activity levels. Through these experiences, she developed a particular interest in treating orthopedic and sports-related injuries and helping patients return to the activities they enjoy.

Skylar’s background in competitive gymnastics helped foster her interest in movement, exercise, and rehabilitation. Her treatment philosophy emphasizes individualized, evidence-based care incorporating therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and patient education. She strives to help patients build the strength, confidence, and capacity needed to return to the activities that are important to them and achieve their long-term goals.

Skylar grew up in Northern Virginia and is excited to return to the area. In her free time, she enjoys strength training, being outdoors, especially at the beach, and spending time with her family, friends, and two Australian Shepherds
